Dr. José León graduated from the Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE) in Santo Domingo in 2003, acquiring the title of Doctor of Medicine.
Later he entered the General Surgery residency at the Central Hospital of the Armed Forces in Santo Domingo, in 2006, after three years in this program, for 2009, he moved to the City of Guadalajara, Mexico; where he entered the prestigious Instituto Jalisciense de Cirugía Reconstructiva Dr. Jose Guerrerosantos, where he remained for three years, in the program of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, receiving his degree from the University of Guadalajara in 2012. That same year he returned to the city of Santo Domingo immediately joining as a member of the “Dominican Society of Aesthetic Reconstructive Plastic Surgery” and the Ibero-Latin American Federation of Plastic Surgeons.
Currently, Dr. José León is an accredited international surgeon of “Operation Smile International” and participates in at least two missions a year with the group.
Active member of the Dominican Society of Reconstructive and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (SODOSIPRE) and the Ibero-Latin American Federation of Plastic Surgeons (FILACP).
Active member of the International Society for Aesthetics Plastic Surgeons (ISAPS).
